I have dealt with Shane Stevens over recent months regarding the placing of adverts in publications. He has consistently been very polite, helpful and efficient in dealing with my requirements and his standard of service encourages me to continue to place adverts with the Group in future.

I always find you very easy to deal with and you appear to be a very good sales person without being pushy! I say this because you have persuaded me to change my mind on a number of occasions (when I have been determined not to take out an ad!) as I don’t think that the Yorkshire Herald particularly targets our niche market. I am also impressed with the way that you follow up and respond to any queries that I have raised (sometimes, once the sale has been made, people aren’t so quick to respond.) Since our working relationship begun, Shane has always been very polite and courteous on the phone. He always calls for payment at the specified time and he is always very prompt at sending through email notifications and draft adverts for approval. One additional attribute is that is I say ‘No’ to a proposal, Shane accepts the answer and doesn’t try to influence me or change my mind, no hard sell which I appreciate very much.

On initial contact with Shane, he explained who he was and why he was ringing and went on to give full details of the offer for the advertisement. He did speak to David Cooper who managed to negotiate a reduced rate. Once the details were confirmed and payment was made, the advert was installed on the website efficiently. Shane was pleasant and informative without being too pushy therefore that is why we agreed to place the advert. Overall we’re satisfied with the service.
